Would a large jack dempsy be okay with a small bgk?

I already have the bgk and it's 2-3in the jack dempsy I saw at a LFS was about 6-7in would the be okay in a 55 gal??

Well the first issue you have is the BGK will outgrow your 55, second, the jack will eventually kill the knife anyways.

I've always wanted a JD and a Black Ghost Knife. My small apartment limits my tank options tho so, I have to settle for no bigger than a 55 gallon.

A friend of mine has one that is close to 14inches long. If you put your hand in the tank he will rub against you like a cat.
