First thing to do is read all the stickies and articles in the saltwater section of AA. lol

See if there is an Aquarium Club near you. That might be your best bet. Or Craigslist.

If you've read the articles you'll know what equipment you'll need.

SW isn't cheap. If you are looking for free or cheap then I don't believe you can afford a SW tank at this time.

FW you can do a lot with less money. SW ? Not so much.

Totally agree with Coursair, I was trying to build a SW tank after having a FW one, huge price change...I'm in about $700 with just basics and one fish...^^;

Mikemc, it would help if your city and state were listed in your profile. Other people might be looking for a helper and trade your manual labor for saltwater equipment.
