Shrimp help

Hi! i need some ideas for what shrimp i should get! my water parameters are PH: 7.2 Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrate:0 ppm Nitrate: 0 ppm

For what size tank? Is there anything else living in the tank?

10 gallon

i have a 10 gallon with ghost shrimp planning to move the ghosties to my 36 g

Depending on your set up, you could go with the easy to care for red cherry shrimp or the more advanced red crystal shrimp

Nitrates are zero ??? That's odd. Is the tank cycled ?

If you are new to Shrimp besides Ghosts, Id start with a Neocaridina sp like RCS. They are the easiest.

Lots of plants. No fish, except Otos.

Red cherries <3, cheap, hardy and easy to spawn

Amano shrimp tend to be very hardy too from my experience

Yes, but Amanos won't breed.

Indeed, they still make a cool addition though!

Mine were bullies about food, so my Amanos were in a diff tank from my RCS and CRS
