i think that they would be able to survive but may not thrive. my experience with amanos is that they will hog food from other inverts. i hade two in a cherry shrimp tank for a little but every time i tried to feed the cherry shrimp the amano would swoop in and run with the food. I think they could be fine.
I have had Ghost Shrimp from pet smart and petco, they died within two weeks, I have read that they are mainly feeder fish, I now have cherry shrimp which are doing fine and are very hardy
