Changing color on goldfish

Hello

The top of my goldfish s head is turning black? What does this mean?

Hard to say without more information. It could be anything from ammonia burns, to necrotic tissue, to a simple color change. Could you give your parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH)? Some pictures would be very helpful, too.
