Do Not FEED! Don't open that blanket. The fish won't eat at night and they are not going to starve! This won't work unless you leave it alone, completely. Like I said, not even peeking.

Yes you have to leave the air stone running.

Hi all,

An update on tank did as advised my goldfish died so a little sad but all the other fish survived did a 75% water change 10 days ago and tank is looking fab.



Totally clear not a hint of cloud also got the light on a timer so only on for a few hours in the evening when we enjoy the tank.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

Looks like the black out worked well for you just be sure to only run lights 6-8 hours daily now.
