Golden dojo loach in pond

Hey guys so last Sunday, my friend found a "weird eel thing" as he described it, and had been trying to find out what it was. I asked if I could see a pic and I immediately knew it was a golden dojo loach. So needless to say, this loach has been living in their backyard pond all winter, and the pond has goldfish in there. They don't know if they wanna keep it yet as they think the pond may get to cold during winter, they said they would give it to me, but I don't have anything over a 20 gal, so if they end up giving it to me, is there anyone here looking to add another dojo loach to their school? As I know you guys on here would provide more than adequate care for this cute little guy.
