Why goldfish need big tanks

Hi, Goldfish can't live in bowls which most people think.. That's sad because goldfish don't stay alive as well in a bowl as they would in a tank. And most people fall away from the hobby because they say its too hard to maintain a goldfish tank. So I am here to change that myth of the goldfish in the bowl. The only reason goldfish need big tanks is a couple reasons. Number 1. They grow LARGE!! Being in a tank to small for a goldfish could stunt its growth size. Stunting means when a fishes outsides stop growing but there insides keep growing. Which can kill them within a matter of weeks. Or even DAYS!! 2. Nitrates and nitrites will RISE!! In a bowl Nitrates and Nitrites will be in the danger zone in a matter of hours they will rise because the More the goldfish eat the more it produces waste. So that's another reason goldfish should NOT be in a bowl. That's are some of the reasons for now there are others too but they are for more experienced hobbyist for goldfish.
