Hello,
I am waiting the arrival of my HOB Coral life Super skimmer (220 gal.). When it arrives I am going to convert my fresh water 150 gal tank to salt. Would anyone give me some advise on draining my tank and cleaning, or any further preparations needed? I had a 110 gallon salt water tank years ago so I'm vaguely familiar with some aspects. I have 2 penguin bio filters, and 2 power heads. I am planning on a fish only tank at this time.

Thank you,
Chris

For cleaning, simply rinse the tank out and scrub it with FW and let it dry. For the rest, let us know what you will be using for substrate and any LR so we can be of more assistance. Do you have a livestock list picked out?

I knor you said FO but may I make a suggestion that You ditch the filters and go with LR and a skimmer. It has worked for me

WELCOME TO AA!!!

Please do not cycle with fish.
I bought my 55G at an auction, it was a FW tank. I washed it out and let it dry.
