Okay real quick guys just started with a 40 breeder 2 weeks ago all new to this. had some stand issues 3 days ago and got a new stand coming tomorrow and a new 65 Gallon tank same foot print as my 40B. I transfered all the rock and water and damsel to a temp Tupperware tub with HOB Filter and sand is in a 5 gallon bucket.
The question is when I return everything to the new tank will I need more sand and rock? I have about 30 Lbs of Sand and 42-45 pounds of Live rock and dry rock which I believe is becoming live now. Also I only have 1 Nano 425 and My Hob Filter and skimmer, which now I am tanking my Hob skimer into a sump or requiem sumps not sure on that one going to keep the HOB filter since I am only getting a 10 gallon sump thing.
