55 Gallon Reef Aquarium

I'm very new, my aquarium gas been running 4 months now. I've got two damsel fish, very small clean up crew (snails/hermit crabs), a cleaner shrimp, an urchin, a stony coral, soft coral and some cute/weird live rock hitch hikers!!!!!



I'm getting more live rock and gonna try to aqua scape?!! So far, everyone is happy I think!!!

Hi looking good If adding more live rock just make sure its already cured to avoid any problems with ammonia spikes. Also the more information you can give then members can help advice more

I have two corals and a soft sponge with some sort of clams on my live rock.

Looks good! Love that rock you have with the arches. I have the same urchin and cannot identify him. You will have a love hate relationship with him. So cool to watch yet he mows down my coralline algae.

He was a hitch hiker!!!! I love him though. The rock he came in is looking dull. There was a beautiful white sponge, but it died I guess. Came home from work it was brown then gone the day after that.

Ya sponge hitch hikers typically don't make it. I cannot wait to see what hitchhikers I get when I order the rock for my 110. Ordering lights tomorrow and I am stoked

He was a hitch hiker!!!! I love him though. The rock he came in is looking dull. There was a beautiful white sponge, but it died I guess. Came home from work it was brown then gone the day after that.

The sponge? that died.

I think the hitch hikers are most exciting!!! Do you know if LED lights can be put under a hood? Where did you order your lights from?

What kind of hood? I got my ai sols from bulk reef supply ordered 2 but thinking I'm gonna order 2 more. One more for the 110 and one for the 29
