Bought the tank...
Added my rock...
Filled her up... (Cloudy as ever!)
Got some hermits and snails...
Eventually it finally cleared up...
Coralline started to grow...
Added my first 3 fish...
2 clowns and a lawn mower blenny!

More to come! :) Stay tuned!

Any suggestions on my next fish or coral?

Yea the tank has been cycling for over a month now. I just gave you a fast forward from start till now :)

It's a Marineland 48-60 inch LED with an integrated timer. Was skeptical about getting it, but has been nothing short of amazing thus far!

Just a small update...

Got some horseshoe crabs to help move around the sand. These little guys are fun to watch. Also added a few small frags to my rock. Hoping these start to grow. I'll add some pictures shortly! :)

Here are some pictures...

Those horseshoe crabs are hard to snap a picture of because they spend alot of time buried in the sand!

I have my two clarkii clowns, lawn mower blenny, bicolored angelfish, horseshoe crabs, a cleaner shrimp, and just got a feather duster!

A buddy of mine was nice enough to give me some frags to throw in the tank. Some waving hands, mushrooms, some zoos, and daisies! I also bought a frogspawn this weekend. Looks amazing under the blue lights!

Well that's all for now! Hope you enjoy! :)

Love the new additions. I was thinking about getting a horseshoe crab, but I wouldn't want it eating any inhabitants when it's older, plus they get to be a foot! Might consider it later, but for now I'll stand in awe at their alien like body and the fact that they have blue blood!

The tank looks great!! Love the feather duster-i wish my brown one had more white in it!! I really like the frogspawn, think I'm gonna get one soon. And I love the bicolor angels, they are gorgeous. I had very bad luck with a dwarf angel in my reef- I hope you have better luck than me!! :)

Fox face!!! Just ordered mine (no spot) a few minitower ago. He will be here Friday! Don't get a blue hippo. IMO, big carriers of disease. If you're looking for a really nice tang I'd go with a Tomini (flame fin.) Beautiful fish. Good luck!!!

Okay, so I havent been on here in awhile, but just a little update.

The tank is doing amazing. It is really starting to come alive now.

Fish:
2 Clarkii Clowns
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Bicolored Angel
5 Chromis
1 Cleaner Shrimp
An assortment of snails and hermits
& a feather duster

Coral:
Bubble
Frogspawn
Cap
Zoos
Ricordea
Waving hand
Daisies
Various Mushrooms

I will take some pictures tonight and post them up. Majority of my corals started as frags, but are starting to grow and take over some of the rocks.

So I wanted to add more fish to the tank. I am waiting for a little longer on some of the fish I want, but I was interested in buying a paired watchmen goby and pistol shrimp. The questions I have are...

1. How deep of a sandbed is needed for these guys?
2. Will my other fish be aggressive towards them?
- The compatibility chart shows they should be okay, but just wanted your thoughts?
3. Do I introduce both to the tank at the same time? or do I get the pistol in the tank and burrowing first, then add the goby?

If you guys could give me some pointers, that'd be great! :thanks:

Here are some random pics for ya!
