Alage?

Since this is my first salt water tank not sure what this is always had green alage in my fresh water tank. Tank is 4 weeks cycled just have a CUC in tank so far. The rocks were white a few days ago now turning brown is it alage? Should I add more CUC? Or is it nothing to worry about?

Diatoms. I had them when I started about 6 weeks ago, now it's a full blown forest of algae in my tank. I'm hoping that it will clear up.

Diatoms bloom periodically. generally whenever there is a high silicate content and extra nutrients not being taken up by other, more aggressive algae. This is why many people associate diatom blooms with the cycling process. They'll go away on their own, but can come back in waves later if the water balance is off. Welcome to the salty side! It just gets more interesting and colorful from here!
