All-Glass Aquarium Question...

All-Glass has two 75g tanks listed in their catalog:

75E 48 1.2" x 18 1/2" x 21 1/8", Empty wt 98lbs
75 48 1.2" x 18 1/2" x 21 3/8", Empty wt 140lbs

What is the difference between 75 and 75E? Obviously the 75E is 1/2 an inch shorter, but could a 1/2 inch account for 42 lbs weight difference?

I think the E is tempered glass.

The bottom pane is made of tempered glass, so I believe it can't be drilled.

If the bottom is tempered it would need to be drilled at the factory.
