im tryin to get together a clean up crew for my tank...its not a reef tank but in stead of getting into the corals i wanted to get a mixture of inverts.......so far on my list is 6 emerald crabs,,,,40 blue leg hermits,,,5 red leg hermits...a flower anenome...50 empty shells...5 sand sifting crabs...5 bumble bee snails...a pencil urchin...10 cerith snails...two feather dusters..knobby starfish...6 pepp. shrimp...1 cleaner shrimp...1 or 2 camel shrimp...1 coral banded shrimp...pink pin cushion urchin and 20 turbo snails....im not sure if im over doing it with the inverts....but the online store im gettin the stuff from gives you a shipping break for additional items....any advice to the list is appreciated

Cut everything in half. If this tank hasn't been up for very long you don't need that much of a cleaning crew. The anemone, bumble bee snails and the starfish I would leave off the first order.

How long has the tank been up? What are you water parameters?

I agree, the bumblebees will kill other snails. I like nassiruis, cerith and margaritas (just a personal preference). I am also not a big fan of hermits.

the tank is almost three months old....i keep the temp. about 78 and salinity...1.025...theres about 125 lbs of base rock and a few fragments of live rock that i put in to seed all the base

yes i read the bumble bees arent a good idea....i really like the coral banded shrimp. but have read it may attack the other shrimp i have in there

i made up a new list.....20 turbo,,,20 cerith,,,50 nerite....10 astrea...20 nasarius....do you think that is still too many ?.....ive been reading that for snails...you can have one per gal. ...and 1 crab per 4 gal....i really like the look of the blue leg hermits...but im wondering if they will get along with the emerald the red leg hermits and the sand sifiting crabs

well...im tryin to figure out what snails get along with others and which crabs will get along with other crabs so i can have a selection of different kind of stuff
