so i'm considering doing a plywood aquarium build, and was planning on using liquid rubber to waterproof it. the thing that concerns me with the rubber is scraping the coralline algae off it. i'm thinking that the aglae might not bond to the rubber as i've never seen it bond to any of the rubber parts on in my aquarium.

does anyone have some insite on this or should i just try and use west systems marine epoxy?
