Dragonet question

I was wondering if dragonet would eat tripods?
My son wants to grow some and when I read about them I wondered if it can be used as live food?

Besides holding cameras still, I know of no other uses for a tripod

Seriously though, I have never heard of an animal called a tripod. Copepods, isopods, amphipods, and cephlapods are the only ones I'm aware of. Can you gives us a little info on them?
