Dry Base Rock Question

I ordered 60lbs of dry base rock from Hirocks. The rocks are covered in dust and dirt... I rinsed one rock and tons of rock dust and dirt came off.

Are there any benefits to keeping the dust or should I just dump it?

And since it's dry base rock, could I add them directly to a tank with fish after I rinse them?

Or do I need to let them sit in water for a pre-detemined amount of time?

Rinse it off and put it in your tank. Nothung else is needed.

I rinsed mine with reg tap water, let them dry for a day or 2, and then into the tank they went.
