One panel should be fine. You'll get a tiny bit of dark on the sides but not much

I never had shadows with my 37 bow front
one fixtures plenty
I run 1 fixture over my 90 with very little shadowing maybe 3 inch on either side but its not to bad I keep mostly LPS and softies , you can see the fixture above tank sits about ten inches above the surface
