fishless cycle - shrimp

i got two raw shrimp to begin my cycle, should i take the shell and legs off? Right now i got the water, sand, two maxijets, 2 heaters in. I am gonna order my skimmer this week, and base rock should be hear in two days, then i will order my LR for next weekend, should i add the shrimp now, or should i wait until i get the skimmer and rock in?

Doesn't matter. Just dump it in fo rnow to start teh cycle. You can pull out what's left in a few days.

Most of it is going to dissolve away, but I took the shell off mine.
