How did u stop the splashing sounds?

The built-in overflow boxes of my 125 have very loud "trickling" sounds. It's really rather noisy. How do you guys stop this for your tanks?

Also- how do you stop this for loud return lines? (I have flexible tubing). I've straightened out the flex tubes as much as I can.

for you overflows, do you have just a straight pipe or something like a durso or stockman standpipe?

sorry i dont quiet know what your talking about on your return lines.
