ok I have had somelive sand and play sand in my tank for like 2 weeks the guys who installed it put it in there and over the last day or to it started to turn a dark brown what is going on is this good bad or does it just happen thanks

The brown algae is diatoms and very normal for new tanks. Nothing to be concerned about and will burn itself out after a short time.
