Well it was a Refuge ... But it didn't work on my fish only tank so let's give this reef thing a serious go.... Ok 20 gallon reef tank with 3 clown fish and maybe one or two anemone .... What kind of hang on filter would be best .... Do I need a skimmer ?

id be VERY careful doing 3 clowns in a 20. not saying its impossible but you will more than likely experience problems with that. if you are running hob and nothing else, id shoot for a 50-60g filter. also run 2 nano powerheads. you don't necessarily need a skimmer but if you can afford it and fit it, do it.

Thanks but my my clowns are in my 180 .... But I think the would be happier in there on ...... I might try it ... Wish me luck !!!!!
