Im planning to start my first salt water tank. I've been researching for a couple months now and feel I've got a good enough understanding of what I want to do. I've made a simple drawing of what I want to do. I'm not looking to stock it very heavily I'm thinking of getting some simple easy corals and some small hardy fish with some invertibrates as well. I'm not planning on using much mechanical or biological filtration. I'm only planning to use the skimmer and a filter sock. I'm going to leave most of the filtration to the rocks and sand. Any comments on the plan will be much help. This is my first attempt so could be completely wrong

Many thanks

What do you mean stock heavy? Saltwater doesn’t really work like freshwater does with stocking. It always leads to aggression and deaths. It is best to plan an appropriate amount of fish from the start, which can sometimes be difficult due to tank size limitations.
