I have a fully cycled 35 Gallon Fresh tank that I want to convert into a salt water tank. This will be my first experience with salt water so what do I need to know to have a successful expierence? I don't want coral or sponges etc.. that require special lighting, I only want fish and inverts that I can easily keep. Will my AQ 70 work for salt? and will my Aqueon heater work for salt? This is my first go at this so help me out!!

Those will work, though we normally lean more towards sumps and refugiums for nutrient export. That said, you want to be careful with HOB filters as the splashing back into the tank creates salt creep which will wear down equipment and lower salinity over time. You'll also need to cycle the tank, as there are different bacteria between fresh and salt.
