TODAY I INSTALLED OUR NEW WET DRY FILTER
ADDED 5GAL RO WATER WITH SALT PLUS TOP OFF RO TO COMPENSATE FOR WET DRY SUMP. THIS MORNING HAD 5 DAMSELS THIS AFTER NOON HAVE 1 :x WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED??????

Looks to me like the climbing ammonia and nitrites in addition to the O2 depletion from adding mixing SW and a sudden decrease in specific grvity was too much. It is not recommended that you cycle with live fish, there are much more humane ways to cycle a tank, I am disappointed that your LFS hasn't informed you it is not necessary to cycle with damsels, they must be desperate for your 4 bucks per
