I have recently set up my 75 gallon aquarium for saltwater, all I have in it right now is liverock. I have noticed a copper colored algae growing on my rock which has now spread to my substrate. I read that one thing that can be done is turn off the lights, they have been off now for two days, just wondering if this algae can be identified and if there are any other recommendations on treatment?
