New Tank Cycle Question - Please Help

I am on day 2 of a fishless cycle for my new UM Nuvo 38. I am dosing pure ammonia, did it twice at 5ml. Currently tank has 40lbs of live sand and 40 lbs of live (supposedly) cured rock from LFS. I took my first readings today with an API test kit. My results seem a little crazy and would like some advice.

Temp: 85 (just for cycle)
Ammonia: 4ppm
Nitrite: >5ppm (top of chart)
Nitrate: 80ppm
PH 8

Do I need to conduct a bug water change? Those nitrates are scaring me, I don't remember this happening when I cycled my last tank about a year ago.

Any advice would be great.

Fish less cycle 2 days in, I don't think a small water change to get your levels down to a manageable level would hurt. However, a water change isn't warranted. Hope I'm making sense. A water won't hurt but isn't needed.

You'd be fine letting it do its thing. Some do water changes others don't. I never did a water change during my saltwater cycle but did in my freshwater because it was a fish in cycle

Tested the water this morning.

Ammonia 2ppm
Nitrite >5ppm
Nitrate 80ppm (maybe dropped a little)

Ammonia is dropping, I will hold off on dosing ammonia and hold off on water change for now. When I want to add fish ill do the water change to drop the nitrates. I just want to make sure the cycle hasn't stalled. I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens.
