I have a Penguin 350 with the bio wheels. I have floss in it right now but i was wondering if i would benefit better from chucking the floss and loading the thing up with Pond MAtrix. I have some floss in the XP3 already and dont want to do to much floss.

I have no idea but I have contacted the SW mentors to see if someone can help you since I have not been any help at all. :)

I'm not famaliar with that stuff, but just by going on Seachems site and looking and the MSDS, it says it's natural stone. I would think you would get the same results as using live rock rubble in the filter.

I agree with ccCapt.

I would opt for the LR rubble.

I agree as well, it looks like LR or base rock rubble would be way more porous (depending on the rock you buy).
