My tank is a 24x12x14. I was at the store and Seen one for 5-20 gallons or one for 10-30 gallons. Which one should I buy?

How many gallons is your tank and what type of power head were you looking at?

I did the math the tank is about 18 gallons

Something over 425 have one on my 20 long only makes it half way across the tank

Yeah I was given the tank. He said it was 25 gallon. But i figured it was more like 20.

I just want some that is going to circulate the water good and give it good current. Ill find out for sure the ones at the pet store. It price was 28 for 5-20 or 48 for 10-30. I'm not sure what power they output ill go have a look today

I'd use a Hydor 550 im running a 750 in my 20 long and the fish and coral seem very happy No sand storms

I bought a aqua clear 20. It's small but if its no good ill just use it for mixing my water
