We are arranging for a trade to get rid of the 125g, which is just too big for right now, and getting a 75g RR w/ stand, canopy, sump, return pump (mag 7), and 40lbs of DIY base rock. We'll be starting that up in the next couple of weeks once we get some more LR to seed it with, and I need to get some pumps, and make a sump. We're going to keep the lighting that came with the 125g (2x36" 2x96w CF - 384w total), and for now I will move the turboflotor onto that tank. I need to get some Koralia's for additional circulation (maybe 1 Kor3 to go with the return?). I'll start up another thread on that tank once we get it...

ok, the $64,000 question of the day - how exactly do you go about moving the contents of a 29g reef (fully cycled) into a 75g reef (recently cycled) without killing everything?

I recently traded my 125g for a 75g RR, got some LR from another reef club member, got some DIY LR, built a sump from a 20g, and cycled the 75g. I would like to roll my 29g (including LR, corals, fish) into the 75g this weekend, but I am not sure how. I can move some of the LR over early (that doesn't have corals attached), but most do. I realize I have to acclimate the corals all over again to the new tank, is there an easy way to do this? most of the corals are puttied to the LR, and not fully attached, so most likely I will pull most of them off and acclimate that way, but some are fully attached. TIA
