I wrapped a rock in seaweed, tied it with a rubber band today and dropped in my tank....emerald crab loved it as did the gobie. Can I leave it in the tank or should I remove it? Will it cause problems?

Leave it in that's what I do. After a while you will know how much to add at a time.

They also make clips that stick to the glass that hang on to the algea. That`s what I use.

Leaving a little bit that is left over from feeding won't be a problem. You just don't want large pieces degrading in your tank.
