skimmer on a 29g

Like many, I heard "you dont need a skimmer on a small tank", I probably repeated it a few times myself.
Now that Im battling hair algae, I picked one up on sale, and boy, what a difference! Even not fully tuned, Im getting yellow skimate and my water look 100% better.
Im sold...a skimmer for every tank!

I think if you have the room, it can't hurt. All it can do is benefit you, is it absolutely necessary? No, but it sure does help. I have a Reef Octopus BH100 on my 20H overkill? I don't think so!
