Sump question?

is it Mandatory to have your tank drilled to have a sump? i mean is it not possible to have water pumped out of the tank and into the sump and then pumped back into the tank? Basically the same concept as a conventional filter? Thoughts?

Yes, it's possible and very popular. Use of a Hang-On Back (HOB) overflow like these are how it's typically accomplished. This replaces the need to have a drilled tank.

I agree. I am using 2 Eshoppes on my 120 right now. I'm very pleased with them.
