Hi I unpluged. My 1200 gph power head to clean it and I left it off for a half day when I came back from work i found my hammer head coral bigger than ever but my zoas all in when I turned on the powerhead the hammer head got smaller but the zoas came out should I keep it running or turn it off ? The power head is facing the top of the water to make a wave affect.

Corals have different flow needs, you need to move them around in your tank to find their best location.Always look up the requirements as far as water flow and light requirements for the coral and place it accordingly.

hammer corals require a medium flow, if it is not happy with the flow then try moving it behind a rock or out of the flow of the power head
