Top of my water is foggy and bubbly.

I believe my tank is cycling right now and the top of my water has gotten somewhat bubbly and it has a thin coat of fog over just the top of the water. Any idea what this could be?

Not enough surface agitation. What do you have pushing water? You want something pointed upwards to get good ripples going.

What do you mean by you. "think" your tank is cycling? Are you trying to cycle a new tank and if so, how are you doing that?

I thought it was cycled a few weeks ago but it seems to be just starting now due to a big ammonia spike
