Scats do quite well in full marine (they really need at least highly brackish)....'scats' are Scatophagus argus, typically.

If that doesn't work (scats) I would look at your filtration system. I have never used scats for that and I have only converted one to complete salt. that just shows you, when you think you know a lot, someone will show you something new!
