what kind of light for 50 gal & sump/fuge??

hi,what kind of light should i get for my 50 gallon? tank it is 48 in long, i could get 1 48 in light or 2 24 in lights. what do you think? what do you have?? and i will have nems after the tank is well established.but what kind?? it will be open top...no hood
and i have a 30 gal sump with a 14 in fuge. what kind of light should i get for that?? what do you have?

On my fuge I have clamp lamps from the hardware store with compact fluorescent flood lamps (5500K). I have 2 bulbs with 27watts each.

I would go with a HO T5 fixture with individual curved reflectors and at least four bulbs (six would be better).
