Which Salt do you use?

Just wondering what people recommend for salt out there for a FOWLR tank? I currently use Instant Ocean, but I've been thinking about switching to MarineSalt or Oceanic. Just curious.

I started with oceanic and switched to Instant Ocean because of an availability issue here. I preferred the oceanic... it seemed to clear up quicker than IO... but thats just my opinion.

I use Oceanic on both tanks and it works well. If I only have a fowlr I would use what ever is cheaper in your area.

Oceanic for me. Its high Alk and Ca make a perfect salt for any coral tank.

I went from oceanic to IO because I could get it MUCH cheaper. I liked the oceanic a little better. More CA and dissolves easier. When doing 150 gal water changes I tend to follow the "deal".

Been using Red Sea for well over 10 yrs.

IO - usually - very stable pH. Just bought Red Sea because that was what was available - pH won't hold. I've had this issue before with Red Sea.

Switched from IO to Coralife (for me also easily available), ph has been much improved since the switch (now I run 8.2-8.3 easily). Calcium/alk also much higher now.
