55 Gal Shopping List

I like the idea of black gravel. I've seen it in a few tanks at diff LFSs. Looks kind of cool to me.

I also like QT's idea of stocking with cichlids. Some of those guys are just sooo pretty. I'd love to have a cichlid tank! Unfortunately, I've yet to run into any at the LFS that would do well in a 10 gallon tank. Wouldn't be a problem for you though! I'd love a 55...

Well thanks so much for the advice everyone. I'll be sure to check into the center brace issue more closely. I like the stock ideas. The tank is a ways away still though! Money saving time.
