Attempt at DIY CO2 rig. Two 2 liter (or Litre for the brits and aussies) going into a glass jose curevo tequila bottle as a balance ballast. Thru check valve then it'll go to an airstone I'll ziptie to the edge of my output from the canister to disperse the co2 throughout the tank.

Cycle has started dosed second time now, it went to .5 ammonia from 4.

Planted plant bulbs and put in root tabs. Java moss ships tomorrow.

Setup CO2 system now or wait till bulbs sprout?

I would think you would want to wait for there to be some plants in the tank before pumping CO2 into it. I believe the plants absorb it through their leaves...???...

I would wait until you have plants growing before doing that but I'm too new to really know for sure.

BTW what happened to your pics? Did you move them off photobucket?
