can your carbonate hardness be too high? I know a high reading gives you a stable ph but I'm just wondering if it can be too high cuz my reading is over 440ppm(where my test max's out at).

thanks
kurt

Try taking it to an LFS for testing to confirm your results. Also check pH. With KH that high I'd expect a pH of 8.2 to 8.4.
