Could I put cories in first?

I know this post is a little old, but just a comment for anyone who runs across it...adding cories first to a tank is fine, however I wouldn't recommend doing so unless the tank is fully cycled. Cycling a tank with cories usually doesn't end well as they are very sensitive to the process...I'm sure most would suggest a completely fishless cycle anyway. Lucky for me I always have tons of seeding material around! I hope everything worked out!
