First Fluval FX6

Hi Guy and Gals,

I just got my first FX6 got it for a great deal as it was brand new and I paid 259.99 shipped.

I've done hours of reading and am still torn on the best way to set up the media on the inside.

I'd like to know what y'all recommend its going on a 125 that going to be a puffer tank, so I wanted to way over filter hence the FX6.

I was thinking

Top - Filter Floss

Middle- Biomax that came with the filter

Bottom- Sea Chem Pond Matrix

This just an idea please correct any issues you may see. I'm still not convinced that I need to add any chemical filtration such as purigen, or carbon

For my canister filters it is mechanical and biological filtration but I do know of people that use carbon or Purigen in there.
