fishless cycling, ammonia amount

hi, i'm setting up a 16 gallon bow front and am doing the fishless cycling. the fourm says to add a small amount of ammonia to bring the level up to 4 ppm. how much should i put in to start with ?

Do you know the % of your ammonia? If so, scroll down to the bottom of the calculator & enter tank szie, % and desired ppm (default is 5, change to 4) and it will give you the exact dose in mls. A 5ml syringe from your local pharmacy will allow you to dose accurately.
