Hello. I have a question about female goldfish. I have read that a female goldfish kept with a male may at times spawn if she has eggs. This seems to suggest not all female goldfish do have eggs… is that the case? If they do have eggs, are they always there, or do they develop at certain times, and, if so, what makes them develop? For example, if I keep two female goldfish together with no male, will they develop eggs or not? If they do develop them, do they have to release them, even though there is no male to fertilize them? All the info on this I find on the web seems really vague. Thanks!
