Good fish stock?

Im getting back into the fish hobby after about a year off. My plan is to get a 400litre tank, sand substrate, live plants and for fish I'm pretty set on a couple green sevrums, 2 snake skin gouramis, 2-3 Rafael catfish, a Senegal birchir, and most importantly a datnoid pulcher. Iv had everything apart from the birchir before, just wondering if this sounds like a good combo? Thoughts?

The Severums will destroy all your plants. I wouldnt plan on keeping severums and plants together.

+1. I agree. Severums don't like plants. If you want a cichlid that likes plants, go with rams.

I had sevrums in with fake plants before with no problems? Is it just live plants they uproot?

Probably yeah. Plus they can't really tear apart a fake one that easily
