Southeast Asian themed aquarium stocking

Hello there. So as the title suggests I need a bit of help with stocking. I have a 30 gallon aquarium Which currently has been established for just under 2 years. I am hoping to try a southeast Asian themed planted aquarium. I currently have a very shy female three spot gourami, three black kuhli loaches and a whiptail catfish ( I know it's not from Asia but he is staying in the tank). I am an experienced hobbyist being in the hoby for around 4-5 years so I don't mind hard or expert only fish . I am interested in halfbeak, any plant safe catfish and I am considering a group of bamboo shrimp having kept a group years ago. If there are any fish you would recommend I am down to research them.
