My tank finally cycled!

0 ammonia
0 nitrites
.5 nitrates

I removed my plants cause they were decaying and adding lots of ammonia causing daily 50% water changes. I changed my pwc to ready water only and within the week my ammonia dropped.

I'm not sure what exactly caused it to cycle. I'm guessing taking the plants out fixed it.

Any ideas?

Did you up your temperatures to do the cycle?

Decaying plants will mess up your tank params!

Are you using your light on your tank?
