I have 3 green spotted puffers in a 60 gallon tank. I was wondering would it be ok to a bunch of snails to the tank and let them breed in tank, or should i keep them in their breeder tank?

I'm assuming the puffers would clear out the snails eating them faster than the reproduce I would just leave them in the breeder IMO.

Yeah they would not be able to reproduce fast enough, and if their spotted puffers then they can be kept in freshwater but should really be kept in brackish water

Also. Do you guys remove empty snail shells after ur puffers eat?

Only remove the shell if you suspect they have snail meat leftover. The meat will rot and foul your water. You can just leave the shell if you want if its empty. Some people don't like the appearance of empty snail shell in their tank.
